my brain is full of things
Jan. 9th, 2013 08:56 amWhen updating issue tickets, there are two abbreviations that I use all the time "WFI" (waiting for information) and "WTC" (waiting to close). Sometimes my internet-addled fingers will try to combine these into "WTF". Luckily, the ticket software doesn't recognize this as a valid status and tells me to try again.
I still need to hem my circus skirt. It's pretty amazing. I have some black satin pants I can wear if my plans for stripy pants don't happen. I want to make some accessories, but don't know if I'll have time. I also need to dance my song to remember my choreography better.
Emi is amazing. Ox is amazing. I am very lucky to have two awesome kids. I could wish that their food allergies weren't so bad, but I feel so blessed that they're mine.
My sewing area is cleaned up! I organized and Downwood moved boxes and swept. My table is still a mess, but it's an organized mess of In Progress Projects. Non-crafters will never understand, but it makes total sense.
College football is done. Sigh. Now my Saturdays will have less stress. This is good, right?
My Scion game appears to be going well. The players are interesting, the characters make...interesting choices, and I keep us all well supplied with booze. It's fun. My current story arc has at least three more sessions to go. After that I have to decide if I want to continue working through the British mythos or jump into another set of stories. It depends on the characters and where the players want the game to go, of course, but I like constructing these simple overall ideas and letting the complexity grow organically.
Speaking of organic, heirloom seed companies will be the death of me. I want to grow ALL THE THINGS!
I love dance. It was SO good to see my friends again after three weeks off. Here's to hoping my back continues to have low enough pain levels that I can go to class. I feel so much better after getting my head and feet in line with each other.
