Weekend accomplishments

In no particular order

• I got my sylvari necromancer up over level 60. Woot!
• I finished the Elsa dresses for Emi and her bestie. It's a bit big on Emi, but she'll grow into it. She also promptly ripped the under arm sleeve seam, so it's on my table to get fixed. Sigh. But she was SO EXCITED to put it on and was twirling and playing with the cape as if it were Isis wings. Happy sigh.
• I did many loads of laundry. As usual. How do these kids go through so many clothes! I thought we were done with that after the baby "I need 17 onesies for one day" thing.
• I snuggled my kids. I read books with my kids. I've found that if I go to the TV room and sit on the couch, Ox will stop what he's doing, grab a book, throw it in my lap (literally), and snuggle up to be read to. This is awesome, except for the bruises left by high velocity Cat in the Hat. Ouch.
• I got my hair cut. Sarah put in more layers and gave it a newer shape. I like it.
• I went to the grocery store. Actually, I went to two grocery stores, since Aldi doesn't carry the dairy-free products I need for Emi. Also, Hy-Vee has good beer. So I bought good beer. Yay beer!
• I made a healthy lunch and cleared lots of veggies out of the fridge. All hail stir-fry!
• I reinforced Emi's addiction to "The Light in the Attic". She won't let me read anything out of "Where the Sidewalk Ends" yet, but I have hope we'll get there someday. She loves the silly poems. I love reading poetry to her. Also, the copy of ALitA that we're reading has an inscription in the cover. It was a gift to me on my 11th birthday from my godmother. My copy of WtSE was a gift from her the previous Christmas and should probably go to the book doctor to get fixed up. Both books have been well loved. And now Emi loves them, too.
• I wrote some posts in various Storium games. I think I need a new one. Or something.
• I didn't stress about work. I also didn't get my Comino dress pattern taped together or anything else sewn, but the GIANT FREAKING PILE OF GLITTER FABRIC IS GONE. So I can recover my sewing table. And that's good.
• I got the Swedish Chef theme song stuck in my head. Bork bork bork!
• I yelled at Duolingo for not just telling me the damn rules behind the endings of the adjectives. Just tell me how this works, what the pattern is, and everything will be fine. Enough with this "organic learning method" nonsense! Argh!
• Tried to be a good person. Tried to be a balanced person. Tried to not give into the jerkbrain. Mostly succeeded.

And now we work. Yes. Work. Maybe we also coffee. Mmmm...coffee....
