I came home, put the groceries in the fridge, took out the cranberry juice, added a healthy amount of rum (the vodka is missing), drank about half the glass, and then felt human enough to start on dinner. I've since had cocoa with cookie liqueur and vanilla Cool Whip and a mug of Bengal Spice Tea. And I've been painting the Swordy!Lady practice mini I got last weekend.
I just got asked how my day was. My answer?
GRRAARRHGHHH JEN KEEEEELLL TEH STOOPIDZ!!!!!
Why?
Class was...frustrating. One of my classmates/coworkers is very very VERY annoying. I'll be much more tolerant when I don't have to listen to him for 8 hours a day. I like him, really, but...not very much by the end of the day. No, I'm not a perfect person. Deal.
As the afternoon wore on, I was getting ready to run over to the DMV to renew my (expired) license. I started getting things together at 4:59, as it's halfway across town from our training room. Then, at 5:01, they said, "By the way, you're going to have to stay for an extra hour to take this required class that we haven't offered since May (because the person teaching it "got behind"), but we only sent the meeting notice to those people hired in November, even though all of you in TS need to stay."
It gets better: the whole thing was information that I've already gotten in other orientation-type classes. Lovely, no?
mrscraigzip was right there with me. It sucked.
But right now? Right now, I'm doing much better. Rock on.
