sabineFriday - Came home and whirlwinded through my list of to doooms.
Saturday - Woke up at 4 to Emi crawling in bed with me. Woke up at 5:30 to Emi crying because she had wet pants. We rearranged bed options and got a bit more sleep. Then I showered, gave hugs, and got on the road for Des Moines. I arrived shortly after lunch with a car full of baby stuff and a sack of tacos. I got LOTS of baby snuggles with little Bash. He's tiny and precious and a total terror, but still cute and fantastic. Wisconsin's football team kicked butt, but Iowa State is going to have a long, long season.
Sunday - Woke up and got more baby snuggles. Went out shopping and ended up with new books, fabric, and a laptop from Costco to replace my ancient behemoth of a laptop. More baby snuggles, then we went out for a totally delicous dinner.
Monday - Woke up early and loaded the car. Got more baby snuggles. Drove home, having probably far too much caffeine, but I didn't fall asleep behind the wheel, so that's good. Got home, did a bunch of laundry, read books with kids, had a heart-to-heart with Downwood. Started surfing for cute bed-and-breakfasts in the area for a combined birthday/anniversary weekend trip.
Today - Woke up for werk far too early. Came in and have been short of breath and dizzy for most of the morning. Am debating going to urgent care. Need to go to the grocery store. Need to feel better. Ugh.
