12 Days of Being Happy - Day Two

I went out to walk the dog this morning and discovered that we went from cold to OMG!FREEZING. It was cold enough that Rain immediately turned around and tried to go back inside. I don't blame her one bit - I don't like it when the toilet seat is cold and I've never had to deal with snow in the bathroom.
I knew that I'd be in the Building of Not Enough Heat for most of the day, so I pulled out a pair of socks that I use with caution. Not even fully stretched, they easily reach from toe to mid thigh. If I try, I can get them almost all the way up. Given that my legs are disproportionately long for my height, this is really impressive.
And these are not "stockings". No, these are SOCKS!
Mad props go out today to Sock Dreams. I have warm legs and these socks have fabulous elastic (no drooping). This makes me very, very happy today. With luck, we might break double digits for the temperature, though the wind chill is still telling us to stay the heck indoors.
