holy mother of demons, that was nifty

Downwood, being the amazing and wonderful husband that he is, won tickets to see an early screening of Beowulf in IMAX 3D tonight. All hail Downwood, master of entertainment! Hail!
Ahem.
I don't really feel qualified to gush about how exceptionally nifty I thought it was. Though I was a CGI skeptic, it really did make the heroes belong to the same world as the monsters. It was bloody, violent, and everything that a hero story should be.
One quibble: they were okay with full frontal female nudity but not male? Sheesh.
Also, my overall feeling of the movie lies below the cut. I regret nothing.
