Worked from home today, since Downwood finally caught the tummy bug.
Took Downwood to the ED this evening after he got dehydrated to the point of muscle spasms.
Kids are in bed. I've done nearly all the dishes.
Need to take out trash and recycling in the morning. Need to call work and take a sick/personal day. Need to reschedule meetings. Need to sleep.
Don't know when Downwood's coming home. Not certain how he'll get here. Friends up in town have volunteered, but we still don't know if he's going to be there overnight or what.
I need to move back to Des Moines. We'd have family within 5 minutes and be WAY closer to hospitals. But I love our house and our town. I actually enjoy my job. I don't want to move.
Sigh.
