I'm working. As I'm actually taking some time to, you know, DO WORK, I had two crises come up that people needed me to address OMG!RITE NAOWWW!!!111!

Yes, I am a tech goddess. Still, I am deeply annoyed.

I never got an email from AJ saying "Here's the lineup, can I have your intro please?" So I just sent her one and mentioned that the muppet costume is tricky, so I need more than 1 song in between acts to dress. I have 3 songs. I hope they're long.

Grandma has arrived and is currently spoiling her grandchildren. I'm not sure why I bother to buy toys or clothes for them...except that she has firm ideas about gender roles and I like giving Emi options other than pink.

My dance stuff is stashed in the back of Downwood's car. He'll come get me in a couple hours, drop me at the studio, make a quick trip through Woodman's, then be there to watch me dance.

I have granola bars in my office. They'll get me through the early evening. After dance, we're going out for pancakes and pie. I'm focused on this.

I have lots of anxiety. Should I wear a belly cover? I think probably yes. It'll make me feel better in the long run, especially if there's photo or video of this. Yes, we have fuzzy belly covers for the muppets, but I'm not planning on wearing that for the other. Sigh.

No, I don't have to be perfect tonight. Good enough is still good enough. I won't bring shame upon my ancestors, even if I literally fall down. Because even if that happens, I'll get up and keep dancing. And that's good enough.

...as long as I don't stare at the floor and have velociraptor hands. That'd bring shame upon my ancestors. But I'm not terribly worried about that. Everything else - timing, being beauteous, being on time, getting changed quickly, getting to see GPS do her thing - that's where my anxiety is right now.

And I just got another OMG!CRITICAL email. Dammit.
