Dinosaur!
I am SO PROUD!! I've never gotten over my childhood love of dinosaurs and all things paleontology, which Downwood saw first-hand when we went to the Field Museum and I totally geeked out in the dinosaur exhibits.
And now my little girl comes over a couple times a day saying, "Saurus! Saurus! Saurus!" This is her way of asking us to get down the giant dinosaur encyclopedia (souvenir from Field Museum) so that she can look at the pictures while we tell her the dinosaur names.
By her birthday in August, she'll probably have found something else that's equally amazing and wonderful to her. She still loves to pretend to cook and she loves animals and all of that's okay with me. I'm just so tickled that she loves something that I love.
