Want to post a very long book entry.

Am braindead and mood swinging way too much to be coherent.

I will say this:

I liked the last Harry Potter book immensely. I think I frightened Downwood when I tore through it in 5.5 hours last night. Dude. I think the epilogue was unnecessary, but I liked it overall.

There is, however, another book that I love EVEN MORE. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss may very well be the best fantasy book I've read in several years. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Kvothe could TOTALLY kick Harry's ass in a cage match, would look good doing it, and would then write a ballad about it that could win Grammys. The only downside to this book is that it's the first of three and the second book doesn't come out until next April. The upside is that Patrick Rothfuss lives a short 2 hr drive north of me and I know where he works.
