a short conversation

Team Lead: "Thanks for taking on this new role, Sabine.  To be honest, when I talked to the other team leads, we have some reservations about you doing this."
Me: o_O "Like what?"
TL: "Well, we just don't think you can be mean and scary enough to harass people into getting the things done that you'll be assigning."
Me: o_o  "...I don't really think that's going to be a problem"
