book review
Dec. 5th, 2006 07:09 pmI went to a SkillPath conference today to learn self-confidence, communication, and confrontation skills. Unsurprisingly, I'm hiding behind a mug of tea and have several semi-complicated dishes being prepared. Cooking helps me cope.
In the breaks today, I finished reading Black Powder War by Naomi Novik, the third book in the Temeraire series. I feel the need to continue my heartfelt exhortations that all you on my flist who enjoy sci-fi/fantasy/alternate history books read this series. You should also read the Belisarius series by David Drake and Eric Flint.
But I digress.
( Spoilers ahoy! )
I also need a Temeraire icon. Anyone feeling creative tonight?
