highlights of the afternoon
May. 4th, 2006 04:12 pmHighlight #1 - Going to an extremely boring class, learn something Brand New And Extremely Cool, look smart in group meeting 10 minutes later for knowing about Brand New And Extremely Cool feature.
Highlight #2 - Get a voicemail from someone saying, "Um, I see you're working on this thing and, well, is it *supposed* to be doing this?" Go into the code, realize, "Oh, damn. No, that's really not going to work the way I think it should," and fix it by adding a grand total of five characters.
Now to figure out how to spend the next 40 minutes in a semi-productive fashion and I can call this day a win.
