Apr. 20th, 2006 09:09 pmAnd I'm getting in a car to go to the airport to return home. It'll be a long day of travel, but I'm very much looking forward to it. Today's shift went really well. I got some physicians to be less grouchy about the software and a couple of nurses to quit griping about how "it's just not the same!!1!!eleventy!"
Right. Fabulous observational skills there, chief. *sigh*
But I got introduced to some of the people I'll be working closely with over the next years. They don't know that yet, but it'll happen. I was also very glad to see some of the kids from the PICU get well enough to be released to a normal floor. That felt good.
Now to continue spinning fantastic plots for my poor players until I'm tired enough to fall asleep. Today? I think I can handle today.
