*sigh*

Aside from the insane wake-up time and the horrible planning on the part of our compatriots, today was a really good day. We drove to Chicago, got to chat and such with both Downwood and Stormy on the way, spent way too much money at an actual, honest-to-Bob Lush store, and got to see Sue and an incredibly spiffy Pompeii exhibit at the Field Museum. We came home to a very excited doggy and two different packages of BPAL for me (thank you, thank you, now I *really* need to find a book to send you!).

There are things that would have made the day better, but right now I want to focus on everything that went right. I have Tazo in a mug, I smell absolutely delicious from the Tell-Tale Heart LE oil, and I have a doggy and fiance who both love me very much. Life is good.
