quick update

Yesterday? Yesterday was a fabulous day. I got lovely cards from my family and lovely gifts from my friends. I got to talk on the phone, taken out for dinner, and generally treated like a princess. It's probably good for the rest of the world that I only get one day a year like that. *grin*

My darling little sister will be arriving at my doorstep in about six hours. Here is our weekend schedule. Any Madisonians are hereby invited to join on any excursion that looks spiffy. Laze about, perhaps go to Mass, maybe get lunch somewhere, not sure.

And now I get to go back to beating my head against the computer in the hopes that it does what I want it to do. Everything was going smoothly up until just a little bit ago, then it just stopped working. When I find Murphy, I'm gonna punch him a couple times, then stuff that annoying Law of his down his throat. *headdesk*

um...

So, Saturday might also include a trip to the mechanics in the morning as Lilith's car made "really weird noises that suddenly stopped and I lost power steering and the overheating light came on and so did the battery light and I think that's bad."

Right.

*sigh* Let's go get dinner.
