I've been more lucky in the past year than I thought possible. I got a new shot at life when I thought that there was nothing left in this world for me. I found new friends when it seemed that my road was a one-person only trail. And I found love in a place that I least expected to see it. I'd thought that my heart was in too many pieces to be picked up and that my soul had long since fled. I'm so very grateful that I was wrong.
