Seven years ago today I was a nervous wreck. I delegated as much as I felt I could, but was still worried about something not working. Maybe it was silly, when I was offered cash to just elope, but it seemed like the thing I needed to do.
Five years ago today I got taken out for margaritas to celebrate the day.
Four and two years ago today I held a little baby and smiled over dinner.
Today I have work and dance and a chest cold. Downwood went to pick up kiddos from their weekend vacation with my parents. It hasn't all been good, but it's all been something. I couldn't have predicted then that I'd be here now.
Pretty sure it's all been worth it.
Happy anniversary, Downwood. I still love you. :)
