sabineSince I just got confirmation that the object of my affections and devious planning has left the vicinity of a computer, I feel safe posting.
*grin* Sneaky, no?
The flowers are arranged in a water pitcher, due to the lack of obvious vase-ness in the kitchen and spare room. That's okay: I think they look rather nice how they are.
The birthday presents are wrapped and positioned on the table in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The extra parts of the present are stashed out of sight in my bag.
The kitchen has been cleaned and dinner begun. The smell of garlic, onion, basil, and tomato in the kitchen is second only to the cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg of pumpkin pie (that's going to be in just a couple more weeks. yay!). I decided to go with a slightly less complicated sauce for dinner. This way it can simmer longer and nothing bad will happen to it. Mmm...I love cooking.
I think this is one of my better birthday ambushes. Though, it'd be perfect if he hadn't known that I was going to be here doing something. That's okay. I can understand how he'd be extremely concerned if he didn't know where I was - I could be lying dead in a ditch somewhere. These are the problems with my always-connected-to-the-internet lifestyle. *grin* Not that I really care.
I must go back to the stove. I think the pan's ready for frying some italian sausage. Have a pleasant evening, everyone!
